We are a family of 4, plus a passive-aggressive dog.  The ongoing search for “home”, a place with the perfect balance of low-stress lifestyle, epic scenery, things to do, and a livable wage, has led us to be somewhat nomadic.  We’ve tried out places that offered a high score in each of those areas, just not yet all at the same time.  We are optimistic that our current attempt at finding the right mix of qualities is the winner: 2,700 miles north of our California hometown in Anchorage, Alaska.
